It is our sincere aim at Centerpoint to build a healthy community of believers who are dedicated to being the kind of church that Jesus has in mind. This means that together, we strive for authentic relationships, sincere worship, biblical teaching, continual prayer and compassionate outreach to our community and around the world. One of the first things you may notice when you visit is our genuine desire to meet with God in a meaningful way. We believe worship is a heart thing. Another thing that will eventually become evident is our commitment to love one another though the thick and thin of life. Authentic relationships is one of God's most precious gifts to us, but it is not always easy. It requires patience, forgiveness and love. We've decided that we're up for the challenge.
We realize we're probably never going to get it perfect. The truth is, perfect people are really uncomfortable at Centerpoint. What we do know is that life is hard, but God is good. And it's more fun to do this life thing together rather than going it alone.
We hope you'll take the opportunity to be our guest and rub shoulders with some of the kindest people in Oakland County. We're on a journey together, and the best is yet to come.
